Down and Back again is here for the dogs. Currently, it is a one- woman owned and operated business based in rural Ohio. Having always been a multi-faceted artist and former candle maker, I was finally asked why I don’t just make art full time, instead of busting my hump as a dog groomer. The first step was rebranding the candles around the thing that gets me out of bed in the morning- dogs.

I thought on the fact I only ever made art for myself, solely because I can’t go a single day without creating something and working with my hands…. or coffee, furry companions, and being cheeky. I decided that would be my brand, and I would use it to give back to the dog community that has given me so much life and purpose.
